Why does the warp keep breaking?
Not every warp break starts with the yarn. Heddle eyes, spring balance, worn parts and the comber board layout are where to look in the harness when breaks go up. Many warp breaks start at the eye: if the inside is rough or the shape is off, the yarn rubs on every pick until it breaks.
